We’ve grouped the questions parents ask most into three areas. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Just reach out — we’re happy to help.
Enrollment
Getting Started at Jazybe
How do I enroll my child?
Start by scheduling a visit so you can tour the home and meet our caregivers. After that, you’ll complete the enrollment forms, share your child’s routine, and review our program agreement together.
Is there a waitlist?
Availability varies by age group. We keep spots intentionally limited to maintain low ratios, so we recommend reaching out early — we’ll let you know current openings right away.
What does tuition include?
Tuition covers everything: CACFP-approved meals and snacks, all learning materials, bilingual instruction, daily progress updates, and developmental tracking. No hidden fees or add-ons.
Do you accept assistance programs?
Yes. Our EHS & HS bilingual programs are federally funded for income-eligible families. Contact us to check eligibility and learn which options apply to your situation.
Daily Care
Life Inside Our Home
What are your hours?
We operate Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Flexible scheduling options are available for families with non-standard work hours — just ask.
What about meals and snacks?
We participate in the CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program). Every meal and snack is nutritionally balanced, age-appropriate, and included in tuition.
Is the program really bilingual?
Yes — English and Spanish are woven into every song, story, and activity throughout the day, across all age groups. It’s not a separate class; it’s how we operate.
How will I know how my child's day went?
You’ll receive daily updates with photos and notes on meals, naps, activities, and milestones — so you’re always in the loop, even on busy days.
Safety & Health
Peace of Mind for Parents
Are you state licensed and insured?
Yes. Jazybe holds a continuous Illinois state childcare license and is fully insured. We renew annually and meet all inspection and safety requirements.
What is your sick-child policy?
To protect everyone, children with fevers or contagious symptoms should stay home until they’re well. We’ll share the full health guidelines during enrollment.
What are your caregiver-to-child ratios?
We intentionally keep our group small so every child gets real individual attention. Ratios meet or exceed state requirements for each age group.
Is the home child-proofed and secure?
Absolutely. Our home is fully child-proofed, with secure entry, age-appropriate spaces, clean rest areas, and dedicated zones for play, learning, and meals.
